Kundalini
and Vibrations
|
| Kundalini is the power of pure
desire within us, a motherly and soothing spiritual energy which lies
dormant in the sacrum bone, at the base of the spine. Awakening the
Kundalini has been for ages the main goal of all religions and spiritual
traditions of the world. |
| |
| Shri Mataji says:
"We have the
Mother within ourselves, in our hearts, and if She is awakened,
She is going to look after us. She is going to give all
the protection that is needed. And there is nothing to be
frightened of anything."
"Kundalini cures you,
she improves you, she bestows all the blissful things upon you.
She takes you away from the worries of the grosser level." |

| There are many energies within and around our body, performing
different functions. Among them the Kundalini is the most subtle,
and once it is awakened it starts spontaneously looking after all
the other bio-energies. As Shri Mataji says, "Chaitanya
(vibrations) is the integrated force of your physiological, mental,
emotional and religious Selves." Because
the Kundalini is so subtle, it cannot normally be seen with the
naked eye. But there are photographs which have captured the vibrations,
which appear as lights of different colors coming out of the fontanelle
bone area of Sahaja Yogis (persons who practice Sahaja Yoga).
A few such photographs are shown below: |
|
| Shri Mataji being received at
the airport in Vancouver, 1993. |

and clearing out the back of the head of a person. |

When I first saw this picture,
I thought the light was a reflection in the car window. But then I
realized that the window was rolled down as Shri Mataji's hand is
waving while being through the open window. |

Shri Mataji giving en-masse Self
Realizaton to a large group of seekers at a public program. |
|
Vibrations emitting from Shri
Mataji, above her head and around her body. |

Shri Mataji and her husband,
Sir C.P. Shrivastava, among Sahaja Yogis at an international seminar
held in Romania, 1992. |
|
Vibrations emitting from a photograph
of Shri Mataji placed in the middle of a large room. A few Sahaja
Yogis can be seen to the sides of the picture. |
|
This is actually one picture
of a series of 5 photographs taken in succession of people standing
around Shri Mataji on a boat. |
| These are all manifestations
of the All Pervading Power of Divine Love which does all living work
and which is reflected in us as Kundalini. As Shri Mataji Nirmala
Devi says, "All work is done by Nature.
You cannot even sprout a seed into a flower. Nature does all the living
work. Man only does dead work." Through
Self Realization, we become connected with this All Pervading Power
that we can feel in our palms and we learn how to use it for the
benefit of the individual and the society as a whole.
