A Prayer at Shri Mataji’s Lotus Feet

A humble offering for seekers, yogis, and the collective ascent of humanity

There are moments when the heart finds itself unable to ask for anything personal. Standing before Shri Mataji, one becomes aware that everything has already been given. What remains is a prayer for others for seekers searching for Truth, for yogis striving to ascend, and for a world longing for peace, love, and liberation.

Our Beloved Mother,

When we come before You,

we find our hands empty to offer,

yet full of the cool breeze of Your love.

You have given us Moksha,

the greatest of gifts,

the light within our Spirit,

the path that leads us home,

and the freedom to become one with the Truth.

And so, if we may ask for anything,

let it first not be for ourselves, but for the seekers still searching through.

May the weary seekers,

who have searched for Truth through many lives,

finally reach home,

reach Your Divine Home.

We have all been there,

wandering through countless doors of confusion,

searching without knowing where to turn,

until Your love took our hand

and settled us upon the ocean of Your eyes,

full of compassion, full of light,

where at last we found our true belonging.

May those lost in the glittering maze of Maya

hear, even for a moment,

the calling of their Spirit,

and remember,

remember the voice of the Eternal within them.

May the hearts that ache without knowing why

discover the cool comfort

of Your boundless love,

and find freedom from the burdens they carry.

Mother, You have given us the gift of infinity

and the privilege of being Your instruments.

And what courage we need to embrace that infinity,

to recognize our new identity,

and to walk the path You wish us to follow.

And in the end, Mother, please grant us:

Faith where there is doubt,

Clarity where there is confusion,

Light where there is darkness,

Surrender where there is struggle,

Joy of oneness where there is separation,

Freedom where there is attachment,

Humility where there is ego,

Wisdom where there is ignorance,

Compassion where there is hatred,

Peace where there is restlessness,

Moksha where there is bondage.

Make us instruments of Your great mission of transformation.

Empty us of ourselves and fill us with You.

May Your love reach every corner of this Earth,

and may all come to know the Moksha

and the liberation You have so lovingly given.
