CULTURAL PROGRAMME 2026

Updated: May 19

The Annual Cultural Programme, which is held every year, took place on April 25, 2026, at the Brampton Centre in Ontario. Organized with immense dedication by the GTA collective, the event was a true celebration of togetherness.

The event started with a beautiful meditation, followed by welcoming Shri Mataji and a talk by our beloved Mother, about the importance of music and how any form of art, dance, song or any instrument, becomes powerful when it is expressed by a realized soul.

The MCs expressed heartfelt gratitude to Shri Mataji. The evening then unfolded with joyful performances, all of which contributed to a harmonious, uplifting collective atmosphere filled with tremendous vibrations.

With nearly 32 performances, the programme was delightfully interwoven with fun quizzes and light-hearted jokes. Yogis of all ages brought their best to the stage, the youngest performer being 3 years old, and the children truly stole the show with their innocence and spontaneity.

Three-year-old Shivansh melted hearts with a beautiful rendition of “Ganesha Ganesha”, while Dev performed a powerful dance of Lord Shiva.

Jasmine enchanted the audience with a graceful ballet, and Veera impressed everyone with a piano solo, “Passa Ca Galia.”

One of the highlights was a musical performed by children dressed as various deities, depicting the life of Shri Mataji, set to a beautiful bhajan composed by Mrs. Sunita Jaggi. The children also performed witty and humorous skits on “Achieving Thoughtless Awareness,” striking the perfect balance between fun and depth.

The “Music for Everyone” group added a modern touch with heartfelt renditions of “Let It Be” and “What A Time.”

Another crowd favorite was the animated video “I Forgot My Footsoak Tonight,” created by Glenn and Gita Pattison, a humorous and highly relatable piece that had everyone laughing. If you missed it, you can watch it here: I Forgot My Footsoak Tonight

Many thanks to all the dedicated teams who handled stage decoration, registration, AV, recordings, photography, and food service, including snacks and an amazing dinner. Special thanks as well to all the incredible yogis who stayed up late after the programme to help clean the centre.

Visually, the programme was elevated by a stunning stage and altar setup featuring a beautiful painting of Goddess Saraswati holding a veena, surrounded by soft pink lotuses. A replica of the Nargol tree added a special symbolic touch to the stage. A heartfelt thank you to our dear yogini Nishi and her amazing daughter for creating this wonderful backdrop.

The evening concluded peacefully with Aarti, silent meditation, and a shared dinner, bringing a perfect close to a night filled with joy, vibrations, and collective love.
