INTERNATIONAL EASTER PUJA 2026, 3–5 APRIL, BUCHAREST, ROMANIA

As we moved through the Crowne Plaza Hotel’s spacious lobby, the gentle coolness of the spring drizzle gave way to a divine cool breeze.

Yogis from across the world gathered for the auspicious weekend of the International Easter Puja in Bucharest. It was so joyous to see Yuvas welcoming aunties and uncles with bright, joyful eyes and smiles.

When the collective came together, time itself seemed to loosen its grip, and all that remained were quiet smiles, shared stories and the joy of being together and even that softened into an abiding sense of oneness.

Our beloved Mother’s Divine presence was strongly felt not only in Her hotel room, which was beautifully prepared by the yoginis and visited in humble adoration, but also in the meditation hall and the few outdoor gathering places around the hotel.

And began the Easter Puja weekend. The meditation hall quietly echoed the meaning of Easter with the exquisitely adorned stage backdrop.

Yogis from the organizing countries, Romania, Moldova, and Turkey, performed Indian and Western classical music and vibrant folk dances, delighting an audience of more than 600 international yogis.

Saturday morning began with a beautiful havan and the day unfolded into its own gentle rhythm.

Few yogis visited Bucharest’s landmarks connected with Shri Mataji’s historical visits, while others joined the medical seminar hosted by Dr. Ovidiu and Dr. Aparna Paun.

Sunday felt as if the world itself had turned quiet and was ready to worship Shri Mataji in Her form of Lord Jesus Christ. It was an absolutely beautiful puja beyond description with tremendous vibrations.

Kundalini soared in absolute joy.

The Romanian collective lovingly prepared a few gifts for their Canadian brothers and sisters, which were later forwarded to several Canadian centres.
