Sharing Experiences from the New Jersey Trip

Jai Shri Mataji!
Dear Family!
Our pilgrimage to the New Jersey Ashram and Shri Mataji's home was nothing short of miraculous for the Toronto Collective. From the very moment we received the invitation to participate in the deep cleaning of Shri Mataji's home, we felt Her boundless love and blessings.
Initially, we were informed that only 10–12 yogis would be needed for the seva. However, the enthusiasm and desire to serve were so strong that our group quickly grew to 18 yogis, along with children. Sadly, we even had to decline a few more eager volunteers due to space limitations.
We began our journey on Thursday morning, and although it was never planned, we all happened to leave at almost the same time. It truly felt as though Shri Mataji was guiding every step of our journey. To our amazement, there were virtually no delays at the border, one of the quickest crossings any of us had ever experienced. The drive itself was breathtaking, with picturesque scenery accompanying us throughout the journey.
Most of the collective arrived at the Ashram between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m., where we were warmly welcomed with radiant smiles and a cup of delicious tea and snacks that instantly melted away the fatigue of our travels. We then shared a wonderful biryani dinner together, followed by a collective foot soak. The vibrations at the Ashram were extraordinary. Many yogis experienced deep cleansing, and a few who had felt physical discomfort before the trip found their pain completely disappeared after arriving at the Ashram.
The following morning began with individual meditation, followed by a beautiful breakfast lovingly prepared by the collective, with every hand joyfully contributing in and around the kitchen. Soon after breakfast, we made our way to Shri Mataji's beautiful home for the seva.
The moment we stepped inside, we were overwhelmed by the incredible vibrations. Words cannot adequately describe the divine atmosphere that greeted us. Each of us embraced our assigned seva with only one prayer in our hearts: "How can we please our Mother?"
Every task, whether deep cleaning the floors, windows, walls, the Mahalakshmi Room, the exhibits, Shri Mataji's altar, or every other corner of the home, was performed with complete love, devotion, and gratitude. It was truly an offering from the heart.
Only five yoginis were initially permitted to perform the seva inside the Mahalakshmi Room. However, toward the end of the day, our entire Toronto Collective was blessed with the opportunity to enter the Mahalakshmi Room, offer our Namaskar, and express our heartfelt gratitude. It was an indescribable blessing that will remain etched in our hearts forever.
On behalf of the Toronto Collective, we humbly offered a small token of our love at Shri Mataji's Lotus Feet. In return, we were showered with unimaginable grace. We received a beautiful painting handpicked by Adi Shakti Herself, along with one of Shri Mataji's sarees and Her towel. These precious blessings are treasures that we will cherish for a lifetime.
We were also blessed to tour the exhibit, which beautifully showcases the immense love, dedication, and sacrifice Shri Mataji poured into establishing Sahaja Yoga for the emancipation of Her Children. Every room, every photograph, and every artifact radiated Her presence and reminded us of Her infinite compassion.
Each one of us experienced Her blessings, Her vibrations, and, above all, Her living presence in every cell of our being. This journey was far more than a visit; it was a deeply transformational experience that strengthened our love, faith, and gratitude toward our Divine Mother.
On behalf of everyone who was fortunate enough to be part of this pilgrimage, we wholeheartedly encourage every Sahaja Yogi to experience this sacred place at least once in their lifetime. No words can truly capture the depth of what we felt. Some experiences are simply beyond expression, and this was undoubtedly one of them.
